The Recovery Services Group, Inc. (RSG) and our sister company, Inspection Services of America (ISOA), were created in 1992 and specialize in providing prompt and professional representation for all of your claim investigation needs.

RSG was founded to investigate cargo and property loss and damage claims of significance for inland marine insurance companies and insurance agencies.  We can attend emergency situations that may occur, such as highway accidents, lowjackings, derailments, seal breaches, temperature abuse situations, and refusals by consignees, as well as perform after-delivery damaged cargo inspections and proofs of delivery.  All assignments are handled promptly and professionally with an average completion time of 24 hours.

We provide these services quickly and reliably because RSG maintains offices in more than 550 cities and serves all points and places in the United States and Canada.  Our staff is composed of experienced professional freight inspectors and specialized claim investigators with an average tenure of twelve years.  We are not adjusters but we have fulfilled our customers� cargo inspection needs for twenty years.

Claims involving temperature-sensitive cargo will be of the essence and we will respond to your needs 24/7. We pulp products to determine their temperatures at the time of inspection. We check the equipment to be certain that the refrigeration units are operating properly, the required temperature settings have been correctly programmed, and the air chutes are correctly installed. We will confirm that the circulation of air in the trailer or rail car is not impeded by floor-loading, tight packing, or cargo loaded above the �red line�. We can, if you require, procure samples of the products and submit them to certified food testing laboratories for organic, quality, purity or microbiological testing.

Should consignees refuse to accept temperature-sensitive shipments we can often intercede on your behalf, assuage their concerns, explain their obligation to accept shipments which are not worthless for their intended purpose, and thereby effect delivery.
